Thanks for joining us on our Classic journey. Our goal is to bring in like-minded folk who are ready to soar into the Naxxramas raid competing with the best on the server.
To hit the ground running as soon as possible, read through this page and grab everything needed to fit right in.
Trial Length
In general, the trial rank lasts around 4 weeks. It does not significantly impact loot after a couple weeks, it’s mostly just to provide a separation across the guild. But in general, rare/critical items are kept for Members and above. Best thing you can do to expedite a promotion is to make a strong effort to assimilate and fall into the guild. We’re not looking for raid night mercenaries! They’re easy to find. We’re for long term commitments. That is our foundation.
Raid Requirements
We run a loot council to distribute all our gear. Those on the council are a mix of Officers and Class Leads, half new, half Veteran of 10+ years. The next highest rank that has a hard count of players in will be Raider rank. (Detailed below)
Sign Ups
Each week after the completion of the core raids on Tuesday and Thursday, a new sign-up sheet will be kicked off. It’s located here.
http://signup.cuethecredits.net
This must be filled out prior to our weekly council meeting to pull together the most balanced raid comp we possible can. We raid two days a week Tuesday/Thursday @ 8:30PM. It’s required that you be able to make both raids, but during this simple time we are being very flexible with allowing folks to choose their preferred day.
Both Tuesday and Thursday raids are built from day preferences and groups of friends first, then what makes sense. Raids will be completely different week to week. We’re doing our best to balance out each raid so they are both completing all content effectively. Weekly speed runs are pointless.
Once you’re signed up you can see where you’ve been slotted here. If your name is bolded, we have locked you to that day. Should we need to change anything from that point on, you will be whispered to confirm before we make the swap.
Note: If you fail to signup before Monday, we cannot guarantee you a raid night you request. In general we’re very flexible right now if you would prefer Tuesday or Thursday, but that flexibility goes away the moment the raid slots are mostly taken.

Raider Rank
Raid spots within Cue the Credits are fairly flexible due to us having two raids. However the progression raids are very strict and require much more than average to obtain an invite. Even more than that, a guaranteed progression invite requires the raider rank. These are our most premiere players. They have great parses, represent the guild well, assist others and push the guild to be the best it can be. More detail can be found below in the “Dive Deep” and “Raiders and Birdeyes” articles.
Loot Council
In a broad sense, the loot council looks at the complete package of a guild member to hand out pieces. Simply topping the meter is not enough.
- Mechanics
- Guild helpfulness
- Attitude
- Attendance
- General effort
Full detail can be found below in Loot Council article. The system I built to track loot live, across the entire 100+ raid team is detailed in the “Raiders and Birdeye” article. I’m extremely happy with it. To get an understanding of where the rough state of loot is, you can refer to the latest “WX-Items” post. Current:
Cue the Credits – Item Table as of Week 10
We run an extremely transparent loot council and are very, very proud of how we are handing out loot. There is a strong balance between focusing on our progression raid while making sure everyone feels they are getting a fair shake. A balance we are very familiar with, and succeeding.
Mandatory Addons
I highly recommend you use the Twitch app to manage your addons. It keeps everything up to date and downloading new addons significantly easier.
RCLootCouncil Classic – Required to receive valuable pieces of gear.
Details! Threat Meter – This or an equivalent functioning threat meter.
Recommended Addons
ElkGuild – Gives a very clean visual on your mini-map of the entire guild. Particularly useful when there are 80+ people online.
Auto Sell & Repair – Obvious enough. Reduces risk of “I forgot to repair!”, mid raid.
Discord
Discord is required for all raid activities.
It’s also heavily encouraged that anyone in the guild attempt to spend a good amount of time within the guild discord. Channels can be created if you need. Assimilating and building lasting bonds is what keeps us strong for years to come and what has kept us going for the better part of two decades.
http://discord.cuethecredits.net
Once you’re in the discord, head on over to the #welcome channel and select your class. This enables class channels and color.
Logs can be found in the #logs channel. They are automatically placed during each raid.
Push to talk is required to be enabled in the #raid channel.
Site articles addressing new ideas or latest topics can be found in #site-articles.
It is highly recommend you enable direct mentions if you have turned them off. We do not like to use @everyone, but do have a couple systems in place that need to directly message you should your attention be required. Most specifically the #raid-signups channel. Which will mention anyone who hasn’t signed up at a moderate interval prior to Monday.
Telegram
A secondary chat application we use throughout the day is Telegram. It’s highly recommend you have this, as promotes guildchat-like discussion substantially more than the likes of Discord which feels more like a forum at times. It has a mobile, web and desktop application.
