Thanks for considering running with our Thursday raid. Our goal with this raid is to expand out guild capabilities and potentially bring in new talent. If you’ve been curious about our guild, this raid is a perfect trial run for both you and us. Loot in Cue the Credits is distributed via loot council to our core raiders. But for our Thursday raid things change a little.
Current Raid Comp
1. Open Rolls
To keep things fair, we’re keeping almost all items to an open roll with a couple things to be aware of.
1.1 We are enforcing a best-use, MS > OS policy. If a particular spec has a minor upgrade drop compared to a classes best-in-slot, the lesser spec will not be allowed to roll. Further down you can see the more detailed item matrix that we follow for both our raids.
1.2 Archetypes: Melee DPS, Ranged DPS (Physical), Ranged DPS (Magic), Healer, Tank
Prior to entering the raid you have to announce what particular set of gear you’re vying for to avoid last second dives for epics. I’m looking at you Rogues. “I’d go Daggers if I won this Core Hound Tooth!” is unacceptable. Know what you want to be coming in. It’ll work out better for everyone.
In the raid comp spreadsheet your desired set of gear will be identified ahead of time to keep things transparent. If you want to enter the raid as a DPS because we’re full on tanks but want to announce yourself as a tank — that is fine. So long as you aren’t dead weight.
1.3 Thursday’s raid is roughly 85-90% Cue the Credits
Since this is our second raid, it is filled with members from both our core group, trials, and alts. Nothing particularly relevant here other than it should be known coming in. It won’t impact your odds of winning anything, just have more structure than a standard PUG raid. It has roughly half of our best players in it to drive the raid forward and make sure it’s run smoothly.
1.4 Cue the Credits may redistribute loot won by our members. One of the goals of this raid is to be able to funnel pieces for a variety of reasons that align with our goals as a guild. When an item drops that is for your spec, any CTC member that is also looking for that item may roll. That is if they do NOT currently have an equal or better item in that slot. If a CTC member wins the roll, we may reroute it to someone else. This would be particularly common with weapons. If you win the roll, it’s yours — obviously.
The main point to drive home here is that we are trying to be as considerate for your time as we can, but also focus the loot distribution on our side. Your chances of winning aren’t any lower due to this method since we aren’t allowing anyone to roll who currently has an item slotted there.
1.5 There is no item limit/raid in most cases. We’re not enforcing a 1-item/player round robin style structure for a variety of reasons. It’s unfair to Warlocks/Druids/Shaman since their loot drops like candy and would lock them out of better gear they actually care about. It also adds some unneeded bookkeeping and frankly, people just seem to like it less. We want everyone to roll and not “hold out” for something. In the past we’ve had individuals pass on everything until Golemagg to try and be in a minority for a weapon, only for it not to drop and waste that players entire night. They’re rare after all.
However, if one particular player is getting an excessive amount of loot, we may step in. It’s pretty uncommon but has always received zero resistance from the raid when it has been needed. Rolls are meant to be random.

We’re recruiting!
A major perk to running these raids and pulling in outside bodies is it ends up being a nice little trial and sample of us and you. We try to split our core about 50/50 between the two raids, so you’re getting a pretty solid sample in regards to what Cue the Credits is all about. If you’re looking for new opportunity and enjoy your time, definitely let us know. We’re still hunting for top tier players for our progression raiding team.
